Katie Dorschner, who has spent the past 13 summers at YMCA Camp Matawa as either a camper or staff member, is now spending the year as our AmeriCorps Representative. Since 2004, Katie has served camp as a Counselor, CIT/LIT Director and Trekker Village Director. Currently, she is leading our efforts to reconnect with our alumni. Using Facebook and seasonal newsletters, we will be informing alumni of the happenings at camp as well as the events in other alum’s lives! As our camp is growing it will be a great way for people to stay in contact with their camp and also those who have experienced the Matawa Magic with them.
